VIP Shore Excursions - For Cruise Liners

You will be collected by the Nefis Travel minibus at the port in Zakynthos Town. We will pick you up from the tender boat harbour side and deliver you back here at the end of the shore excursion. Leaving Zakynthos Town and driving up the east coast of the island, our first stop will be a fantastic photo opportunity at the top of the Alykes Hills. From here, you can see all over the island of Zakynthos, as well as the mainland of Greece and the neighboring island of Kefalonia. After enjoying a beautiful drive along Zante's northern coast, we will stop at the picturesque harbour of Agios Nikolaos to board our highly secure and ultra-fast speedboat and head to Shipwreck Bay and the Blue Caves. On our way to the first destination, Shipwreck Bay, we are often lucky enough to spot some dolphins and even the local Monachus Monachus seals! The boat trip from Agios Nikolaos to Shipwreck Bay usually takes around 25 minutes.

When we enter the fascinating Shipwreck Bay, you’ll feel your adrenaline and excitement build. The enchanting white limestone cliffs surrounding the bay of Navagio and its white pebbly stone beach contrast with the mesmerizing bands of sea colors, from light turquoise to dark blue. You will instantly understand why this masterpiece of Mother Nature is called one of the most beautiful beaches in the world and is a must-do on the list of things while in Zakynthos - one to tick off the bucket list for sure! As we come closer, the colors become even more intense, creating an artistic scene. The setting of the reddish wreckage on the blue and white surroundings is so perfect that it almost seems as if it was placed there intentionally. Currently, it's not allowed to land on Shipwreck Beach itself for safety reasons, but we can sail up to 10 meters away from the beach to take photos.

Our next destination will be the beautiful Blue Caves of Zakynthos. Our speedboat has the ability to safely enter the Blue Caves. We will stop to take photos of the sea caves and arches, as well as the stunning translucent blue waters. Those who wish to fully experience the phenomenon of the Blue Caves can take a dip in the blue waters. When entering the waters, your whole body will take on the blue hues, and you'll seem like a swimming Blue Smurf! Don’t worry though, this is just an optical illusion, and the blue hue will disappear once you are out of the water!

After our sea adventures, we will drive along the West Coast to the traditional roadside market of Matina, where you will enjoy your free Greek snack: a slice of village bread, dipped in olive oil, with olives, oregano, and local Zakynthian cheese called Ladotiri. You have the option to try and buy some local products, including honey, oils, sweets, hand-made carpets, and tapestries. Our next destination on this unique Zakynthos island tour will be the village of Kampi. Located high along the Zakynthian white cliffs, Kampi offers the most breathtaking panoramic sea views in all of Greece! Here, you can enjoy delicious homemade Zakynthian meals while being serenaded by guitarist Nico and your guide Jackie! The uplifting sounds of traditional Zakynthian songs are always a highlight of this excursion!

After a fantastic meal and wonderful music, you will enjoy off-the-beaten-track views as we head towards Bochali - a little village overlooking stunning views of Zante Town. From Bochali, you will also enjoy beautiful views of your cruise boat waiting in the harbour of Zakynthos Town. Of course, we will make sure that you will be back in plenty of time for the tender boats to collect you and take you back to your cruise.
