We stop at a lovely seaside taverna for lunch, or enjoy a stroll along the harbour (lunch is not included in the price).

Tour Program
Our Shipwreck and Blue Caves boat trip is a Zakynthos holiday highlight. On this Zante tour, you will visit some of the most famous sights on the island while avoiding mass tourism. The excursion begins early in the morning, with pick-ups by our 48-seater coach from nearly every holiday resort. As we venture deeper into the mountains of Zakynthos, we’ll take in majestic views of the Ionian Sea and authentic villages along the way.
Our boat excursion's first stop of the day is Shipwreck Bay. Along the way, we are often lucky enough to spot dolphins or even the Monachus Monachus seals. The journey to Shipwreck Bay takes approximately 30 minutes, and your excitement will build as we approach this breathtaking beach. Upon arrival at Shipwreck Bay, you will instantly understand why it is considered one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. A visit to the Shipwreck is a must for any Zante holiday - definitely one to tick off the bucket list! As the first arrivals to Shipwreck Bay, we get to enjoy a peaceful, often exclusive experience at this iconic beach. After capturing stunning photos, we’ll head to a nearby beach on the west coast of Zakynthos for a refreshing swim.
Next on our itinerary is a boat trip into the spectacular Blue Caves of Zakynthos. Our speedboat is designed to safely enter the Blue Caves, allowing us to admire the stunning rock formations, sea arches, and translucent blue waters. For those who wish to fully experience the magic of the Blue Caves, you’ll have the chance to swim inside. The optical illusion of the water makes your skin appear bright blue, creating a fun and unique “Smurf effect” that makes for unforgettable photos! (Don't worry - the effect disappears once you're out of the water).
By the time we return to land at the picturesque harbor of Agios Nikolaos, you’ll be ready for a delicious lunch. For those of you who want to sit and enjoy the spectacular views while enjoying some refueling, we have found an exceptional charming local seaside taverna with a ‘mama mia’ vibe. Here you can try some real traditional or modern Greek cuisine and use this opportunity to get that final special photo of the day to be envied by all, who will wish they were here with you.
Our final destination on the Shipwreck and Blue Caves boat trip and bus tour is the natural Sea Spa of Xigia. This beautiful, small sandy bay is home to a unique sulfur and collagen-rich sea. The minerals flow naturally from the mountains into the sea, creating a rejuvenating natural spa. A swim in these therapeutic waters, combined with a sand scrub, will leave you feeling refreshed and revitalized. Many visitors say they feel younger and more relaxed after experiencing this natural phenomenon in the north of Zakynthos.

Important Information
The duration of this excursion is 6-7 hours.
Since 2022, the municipality of Zakynthos has prohibited landing on Shipwreck Beach. This decision was made due to the 2018 landslide combined with the large number of daily visitors. While we are no longer allowed to step onto the beach, our boat is permitted to sail into the bay and stop at a short distance, giving you the chance to take spectacular photos. The view of Shipwreck Bay remains absolutely breathtaking and will still create that famous “wow” moment — Mother Nature at her best.
As we arrive early in the morning, before the masses, the beach is quiet and peaceful, allowing you to capture beautiful photos of an almost-empty bay (please note that in the early hours, sunlight on the beach is still limited).
Sea conditions can sometimes be unpredictable, so we recommend booking this tour early in your holiday. If changes are required, we’ll contact you directly and offer clear options to reschedule, receive a refund, or continue with an alternative plan.
The Shipwreck & Blue Caves excursion includes a speedboat tour with two swim stops.
We will stop for lunch. Lunch is not included in the price, but you’re welcome to bring your own packed lunch, which can be enjoyed on the beach next to the restaurant.
We visit Xigia Bay after lunch, travelling there by bus from the roadside (not by boat). Xigia Beach, known for its natural sea spa, is a bit off the beaten path and involves walking down several steps to reach the water. The waters at Xigia contain natural sulfur, which may react with silver jewelry — we recommend removing any silver items before swimming.
The beaches we visit are stony, so please wear suitable footwear for comfort and safety.
Because this tour involves steps, walking down to Xigia Bay, and getting in and out of a speedboat, it is not recommended for guests with mobility difficulties.

If you are staying in the Planos–Tsilivi resort area, you can collect your tickets and pay by debit card or cash at one of our Nefis Travel offices. Please make sure to collect and pay for your tickets at least 24 hours before the tour.
For your convenience, we also offer ticket delivery to your accommodation. We provide this service when you are staying in Argasi, Zakynthos Town, Kalamaki, Laganas, Agios Sostis/Koukla, or Tragaki. In this case, payment can be made in cash only.
If you are staying in any other resort not mentioned above, we can send you a secure online payment link for credit card or Apple Pay. Once we receive payment confirmation, your ticket will be sent via WhatsApp or email.
