The excursion price includes the ferry boat tickets to the mainland of Greece. The entrance fees for the archeological site and the museum (20 euros) are not included in the price. When presenting a valid passport/ID card (or a copy of it) there’s free admission for non EU citizens, till 18 years old, and for EU citizens, till 25 years old, and a 50% discount for 65+ citizens. You can have a copy of your passport/ID made at our main office.
We offer free transfers from nearly all Zakynthos resorts, including Zakynthos Town, Akrotiri, Tsilivi–Planos, Tragaki, Kypseli, Alykes, Alykanas, Argasi, Kalamaki, Laganas, Lithakia, Agios Sostis, and Koukla.

During this insightful and flexible tour, you’ll explore the archaeological site and museum in depth. Together with your guide, visit the ancient stadium, the Temple of Hera, and the sacred site where the Olympic Flame is lit. In the museum, you’ll admire remarkable artifacts uncovered during centuries of excavations, each telling its own story of Greece’s glorious past.
After the guided visit, there’s time to relax in the modern village of Olympia for refreshments, snacks, or souvenir shopping before we begin our scenic journey back to Zakynthos.
Important Information
The duration of this excursion is 11-12 hours.
The prices include the ferry tickets to the mainland of Greece. The child fare applies to passengers aged 9 and under. Starting from 10 years old, the adult fare is charged by the ferryboat’s rules and regulations.

The tour involves walking from the museum to and on the ancient site. Think about comfortable shoes.
At the ancient site of Olympia, you will be walking on gentle slopes.
This tour is not suitable for (most) children under the age of 6 and guests with walking disabilities.
It’s your own responsibility to be on time at the pickup point for the departure back to Zakynthos.
Make sure you have a bottle of water with you, as they don’t sell water at the Ancient site.

If you prefer to pay before arriving in Zakynthos, we can send you a secure online payment link for credit card or Apple Pay, or provide you with an IBAN for a bank transfer. In this case, your ticket will be sent via email or WhatsApp, along with details about your pick-up point.
If you are staying in the Planos–Tsilivi resort area, you can collect your tickets and pay by debit card or cash at one of our Nefis Travel offices. Please make sure to collect and pay for your tickets at least 48 hours before the tour.
For your convenience, we also offer ticket delivery to your accommodation. We provide this service when you are staying in Argasi, Zakynthos Town, Kalamaki, Laganas, Agios Sostis/Koukla, or Tragaki. In this case, payment can be made in cash only.
If you are staying in any other resort not mentioned above, we can send you a secure online payment link for credit card or Apple Pay. Once we receive payment confirmation, your ticket will be sent via WhatsApp or email.
