During the stop at Xigia Sea Spa, you will have time to relax and swim. There is also a small kantina with amazing panoramic sea views where you may enjoy lunch or a snack (not included in the excursion price).
We offer free transfers from nearly all Zakynthos resorts, including Zakynthos Town, Akrotiri, Tsilivi–Planos, Tragaki, Kypseli, Alykes, Alykanas, Argasi, Kalamaki, Laganas, Lithakia, Agios Sostis, and Koukla.

Tour Program
Starting early in the morning, with pick-ups by our 19-seat mini-bus from nearly every Zakynthos holiday resort, you’ll enjoy scenic views along the east coast while travelling in a small group. As we move deeper into the mountains of this stunning island, we take in majestic views of the Ionian Sea and authentic villages along the way. Your Nefis guide, staying with you throughout the day, shares stories about local history, flora and fauna, and Greek mythology.
After capturing the first shots of the day, we continue our Above & Beyond Shipwreck Tour to one of the world’s most impressive panoramic viewpoints, overlooking the iconic Navagio Beach. Arriving before mass tourism gives you the chance to capture that special photo everyone back home will be jealous of.
Under the shade of a majestic pine tree, Matina and Dimitris welcome us to their traditional roadside market. Here, your taste buds are treated to complimentary Zakynthian specialities, including local pastelli, nuts, wine tasting, village bread with olive oil, oregano, and the local cheese known as Lado-tiri.
From the village market, we continue to the natural Xigia Sea Spa, a small bay with a striking, almost tropical appearance. Its turquoise waters contain natural traces of sulphur and collagen, flowing from the surrounding mountains into the sea. This unique combination has long been known for its refreshing and skin-revitalising properties. After a swim in the healing waters and trying a natural sand scrub, there’s time to relax and enjoy lunch at the local seaside kantina. With outdoor seating and breathtaking sea views, many guests leave Xigia feeling refreshed, relaxed, and re-energised ,a truly special natural experience in the north of the island.
We then continue to the picturesque harbour of Agios Nikolaos, where we board our private speedboat. As we head towards Shipwreck Bay, excitement builds quickly. Towering white limestone cliffs, a bright pebble beach, and layers of sea colours from turquoise to deep blue create one of Zakynthos’ most iconic sights. As we draw closer, the famous Zante shipwreck beach, appears in perfect contrast against its blue-and-white surroundings. After capturing those must-have photos, we continue for a refreshing swim along the west coast of Zakynthos.
Sfogio Beach is a quiet, unspoilt corner of the island. Set in a secluded cove and surrounded by natural greenery, it offers a peaceful escape. With clear turquoise waters and smooth white pebbles, it’s the perfect place to slow down and enjoy the calm side of Zakynthos. Sailing onwards, we also discover White Beach and Maravelia Cave. With a little luck, we may even be accompanied by dolphins, often seen in these waters and seemingly enjoying the journey as much as we do.
Our Nefis Travel speedboat is able to safely enter the Blue Caves of Zakynthos, allowing you to experience this natural wonder up close. We pause to take photos of the impressive sea caves and arches and the striking translucent blue waters. Guests who wish can enjoy a refreshing swim, where the light creates a magical blue glow , turning everyone into cheerful “blue Smurfs” for a moment. Don’t worry, it’s simply an optical illusion.
After these enchanting moments at sea, we return to the luxury mini-bus and make our way back to your holiday resort. Sit back, relax, and enjoy that familiar feeling of salt on your skin, a smile on your face, and a camera full of memories from a truly special day in Zakynthos.

Important Information
The duration of this excursion is 7-8 hours.
Please note that, following the most recent decision by the Municipality of Zakynthos, landing on Shipwreck Beach (Navagio) is currently not permitted. This measure has been introduced for safety reasons. While access to the beach itself is restricted, we are allowed to sail into Shipwreck Bay, giving you the opportunity to take photos from close range of a beautiful, often empty beach ,a rare and impressive sight.
The tour includes extra time at the Blue Caves and a swim stop at another stunning bay on the west coast of Zakynthos, ensuring a complete and memorable experience.
As we enter Shipwreck Bay, you’ll have the chance to capture photos of this iconic location in its most natural and untouched state.
We travel with a maximum of 19 guests, both in the mini-bus and on the speedboat.
The excursion includes a guided bus tour to the north of the island, with a photo stop at the panoramic Shipwreck viewpoint.
Please make sure you bring a bottle of water with you.
We stop at a traditional roadside market; if you wish to buy local products, it is advisable to bring cash.
Please note that there are steps involved at Xigia Sea Spa. We spend approximately one hour at Xigia. A small kiosk is available, serving fast food and drinks.
The trip to the Shipwreck Bay and the Blue Caves is a speedboat tour with two swim stops.
As the season moves into the autumn months, sunlight reaches the Shipwreck Bay viewpoint later in the day.
Due to steps and getting in and out of the speedboat, this tour is not suitable for guests with mobility difficulties or very young children.
As this tour includes a sea journey, we depend on the sea conditions of the day. On rare occasions, and for safety reasons, we may need to use a larger speedboat, combine groups, or adjust the order of the programme. You will always be fully informed and may choose to continue, reschedule, or receive a full refund.

If you are staying in the Planos–Tsilivi resort area, you can collect your tickets and pay by debit card or cash at one of our Nefis Travel offices. Please make sure to collect and pay for your tickets at least 24 hours before the tour.
For your convenience, we also offer ticket delivery to your accommodation. We provide this service when you are staying in Argasi, Zakynthos Town, Kalamaki, Laganas, Agios Sostis/Koukla, or Tragaki. In this case, payment can be made in cash only.
If you are staying in any other resort not mentioned above, we can send you a secure online payment link for credit card or Apple Pay. Once we receive payment confirmation, your ticket will be sent via WhatsApp or email.
