The Zakynthos Zante resorts of Tsilivi – Alykes – Alykanas

Along the eastern coast of Zakynthos are the Zante tourist resorts of Tsilivi, Planos, Alykes and Alykanas. For many years these beaches have been the proud carriers of the “Blue Flag” – the hallmark of the European Commission for well-maintained beaches. Tsilivi – Planos is situated on the east coast of Zakynthos. In summer you’ll often enjoy a cool easterly breeze in the afternoons. Tsilivi beach is a beautiful sandy beach with plenty of opportunities for water sports. Tsilivi also has a very nice harbour and main street with many bars, taverns, souvenir shops and supermarkets. Within walking distance you will find authentic villages such as Tragaki and Kypseli to explore. Tsilivi and Planos, is also very popular with tourists wanting cycling and walking excursions. A sporty resort, the Tsilivi football academy is also sponsored by FC AJAX football club from Amsterdam. With Zakynthos, Zante town nearby, Tsilivi is an ideal place for everyone.
